The Free plan is the trial — it is free forever, no card. Upgrade only when the volume asks for it.

What happens if I send more emails than my plan allows?
Sending pauses at the limit on Free. On Pro and Scale, extra transactional mail is billed at the extra-email rate shown on the card — for example €0.90 per 1,000 on Pro.
What is the difference between transactional and marketing email?
Transactional mail is triggered by a person doing something — a receipt, a password reset, a notice. Marketing mail is a broadcast to an audience you already have. The two shops are billed separately: transactional by emails sent, marketing by contacts on the list.
What does unlimited broadcast sending mean?
On a marketing plan you can send as many campaigns as you like to the contacts already on your list. You cannot grow the list past the contact cap without moving up a step.
Do broadcast emails count against the transactional limit?
No. Broadcasts sit on the marketing plan, which is capped by contacts. Mail you send through the API or SMTP sits on the transactional plan, which is capped by emails per month.
